How it works
PS200 uses a Pseudomonas-selective colour-change reaction: the sample shifts from light blue (negative) to pink/fuchsia (positive) in the presence of Pseudomonas. It detects down to 1 CFU/100 mL — reached in 48 hours at room temperature, or faster, in 24 hours, when incubated at 35–40 °C.
Collect a 100 mL water sample and add it to the PS200 pouch.
Cap and mix gently to dissolve the reagent.
Incubate 24 h at 35–40 °C, or 48 h at room temperature.
Read the colour: light blue = negative; pink/fuchsia = positive for Pseudomonas.

Comparison
vs. traditional lab testing
Membrane filtration + Pseudomonas-selective agar (44–48 h lab culture)
Off-site, multi-day turnaround. Requires lab account, membrane filtration manifold, and qualified microbiology technician. Per-test cost from $40–$120 plus shipping.
On-site, same-day result
On-site colour readout in 24–48 hours with no membrane filtration, plates or lab account — sensitive down to 1 CFU/100 mL.
