The AquaVial Water Test Kit for E. coli and Coliform is a simple, rapid screening tool that detects harmful bacteria in water, indicating potential fecal contamination from animals. E. coli and coliform bacteria can pose serious health risks, including gastrointestinal issues and infections. The kit provides results in 24-48 hours, with a visual color change from yellow to purple when coliform bacteria are present, making it easy to identify contamination. With a detection limit of 1 CFU/ml, this test is ideal for testing drinking, recreational, and pool water. The kit is easy to use, with a 2-year shelf life, and helps ensure water safety by quickly identifying bacterial contamination. The test is designed to detect even one bacteria per ml of sample within 48 hours at room temperature (in 24 hours when incubated at 95 to 105 °F in controlled conditions).
